Description of Auction Item

Up for consideration is a unique Fly Plate late in every respect. The fly plate consists of  two flies one  by Rene Horrop and one by Bonnie Horrop, with a limited edition print by David Ruimveld. Of course there are signatures of by each of these renown personalities. This is a unique one of a kind plate.

Rene Harrop:
Rene Harrop, fly fisher, professional fly tier, business owner,  write, artist, guide he has done it all. His experience is unmatched. He was also a founding partner in the Trout Hunter a lodge and fly shop located in Island Park, Idaho, which opened in 1998.
 Rene has been involved in many conservation endeavors and was a founding president of the Upper Snake River Fly Fishers (1972) and a founding member of the Henry’s Fork Foundation (1984). 
 
 
Bonnie Harrop:

David Ruimveld:
 
 
A self-taught artist, from Michigan. Ruimveld works with acrylic paints, using many washes to create stunning images of Angling, Sporting, and Wildlife Art. Born and raised in Michigan, he has spent a good measure of time in the rivers and woods in pursuit of big and small game. Traditional values and ethics were instilled in him by a family of fishing and hunting enthusiasts. He now enjoys traveling with his wife Ginny and their two daughters, Kasey & Jenna, to various rivers to pass on those family traditions while researching for new paintings. 
David admires and supports many of the conservation groups and will continue to do so. Believing that they are doing great works to preserve our heritage and the rights that we have to hunt,fish, and enjoy our great outdoors.
